Nathan CurtisUIE Virtual Seminar: Sketching for Understanding
Nathan Curtis

The virtual seminar will start promptly at 1:30pm, preceded by a 15 minutes for socializing and networking. Come early to meet your fellow Triangle UXPAers and talk shop!

We are going to watch a virtual seminar with Nathan Curtis, Principal at Eightshapes, LLC. Nathan actually started his career at SAS as a "Data Analysis Marketing Specialist" in October 1996. In 2006, he founded Eightshapes, a User Experience design firm. Nathan's book, Modular Web Design, was published in July 2009.

About the Seminar

With collaborative sketching techniques to orient and unify teams, it's no surprise that you are embracing sketches to explore design ideas earlier in a creative process. But what are your goals for sketching, and how do they translate to your organization or team? And what are some great techniques you can start using right now?

Nathan Curtis of EightShapes will lead you through the processes, people, and purposes behind different types of sketches. Whether you're trying to sell your ideas, crystallize disparate discussions, or engage remote teams in UX decision-making, you'll be glad you've got Nathan and loads of new sketching exercises on your side.

About UIE Virtual Seminars

UIE allows the Triangle UXPA to show all of their virtual seminars. The Triangle UXPA tries to show one virtual seminar a month. Since we don't show ever virtual seminar, please email events@triuxpa.org if you see one on the UIE calendar that you want to see.
