Director User Experience Design at Diebold Nixdorf

Bio:

Ross is the Director of Global User Experience at Diebold Nixdorf, a financial technology company where he has built a team of researchers, UX/UI designers, and UI developers. He has managed design teams in consulting firms and a Fortune 50 company across a variety of domains for the last 2 decades. He got into the design field from a background in human factors and cognitive psychology as a design researcher.

Khaliah Cothran, PhD

Manager of User Experience at SAS

Bio:

Khaliah Cothran is a Manager of User Experience at SAS Institute in Cary, North Carolina where she manages a team of designers who focus on analytics products, components, and user research. She is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University with a Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering concentrating in Human Factors. Her approach to design and leadership is to focus on people through empathy, curiosity, and innovation.

Rajiv Ramarajan

Head Of User Experience, Visual Analytics at SAS 

Bio:

Rajiv leads the design teams for Visual Analytics, Data Visualization, and the Risk products. He oversees the SAS User Research Lab. After completing his undergrad in Mechanical Engineering, he went on to compete a Master of Design degree from the Industrial Design Center, IIT Mumbai. Rajiv’s work is focused on making analytics approachable and usable by a wide audience. Prior to joining SAS, Rajiv worked at various brand and design firms.

Brett Meisinger

Product Design Manager at Citrix

Bio:

Brett is a designer with experience leading projects and teams at both smaller agencies and larger orgs. Originally from Chicago, he is currently living in Raleigh.

Brent Homan

Director of Visual Design at LexisNexis

Bio:

Brent is a User Experience professional with over 17 years of experience in user-centered design including: visual design, interaction design, and information architecture.

Keith Heustis

Product Design Leader 

Bio:

Keith is an enterprise UX leader trying to make life a little less frustrating for people who use digital products.

Christina Costanzo Mendat, PhD

Managing Director at Human Factors MD

Bio:

Christina is the Managing Director of Human Factors MD and is responsible for the operations and of the company and technical oversight of all human factors/UX programs. She has 20 years of experience working in human factors/UX and has spent thousands of hours observing and moderating research studies. She has authored and co-authored several papers and has been an invited speaker to several associations and conferences. Christina has a Ph.D. in experimental psychology and ergonomics from North Carolina State University.
