Triangle UXPA Book Group - Durham's March Meeting

  • 21 Mar 2017
  • 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Transloc, 4505 Emperor Blvd, Suite 120, Durham, NC

We will be meeting in late January to discuss Lara Hogan's Demystifying Public Speaking from the Book Apart series. In a recent survey we found that a very common skill practiced by local UX professionals is presentation. Among UX professionals, this is an area that is often overlooked. Whether you simply want to be able to present results to your team or you want to present at a conference, quality public speaking can certainly help you further your career.

Pick it up here (https://abookapart.com/products/demystifying-public-speaking). And be sure to check this site before buying on Amazon, as sellers often mark it up in order to resell it.

The meeting will be at Transloc in RTP at 6:30PM on Tuesday, March 21st. Transloc will provide pizza and beer because they're awesome!

Parking: They are located on the ground floor of the building and there will be plenty of free parking for everyone. The front door of the building is locked after 6, so we will check regularly to make sure everyone gets in for the first 15 minutes or so. If no-one is around to let you in, we will post a number on the door to call.
