Triangle User Experience Professionals Association (TriUXPA)

Agile & Lean

This is a very busy week as we have 3 events this week!

Hopefully you have finished reading the book by Steve Krug for the Book Club as the meeting is this week. These are a couple of quotes from the book:

Empathy is virtually a professional requirement for usability work.

Usability is, at its heart, a user advocate job.

If you need to be more lean then this is the week for you, since Jeff Gothelf will be in town to teach us the ways of being Lean for the Enterprise.

Then you can learn how to be more agile by attending Jeff Patton's Story Mapping Product Experience next month. It will be help you be a better communicator so your designs are clear to everyone on your product team. Here are some quotes to stimulate thought:

If we give each other time to explain our thoughts with words and pictures, we build shared understanding.

Stories get their name from how they should be used, not what should be written.
